Our Horizontal Extruders designs are ideally suited for processing full (or partial) bales of highly viscous materials including natural rubber, EPDM, Butyl rubbers, etc.
Our Horizontal machine is a robust, proven design for processing full bales of material. The larger sizes can ingest full bales and feed directly into a compounding extruder at a controlled rate. Direct feed eliminates the process of pre-grinding these tough materials and associated high capital and maintenance costs. We have a 2″ size Horizontal in our Test Facility available for no cost trials.
