LSR 2-Shot components, made from both liquid silicone rubber and a thermoplastic, can be molded in one injection molding unit and one injection molding tool using SIMTEC’s LSR 2-Shot injection molding technology. The completed thermoplastic component is either transferred or rotated to the LSR injection site in the same mold wherein the plastic part was produced.
