If you plan on such shower kerb, be sure (at the start) to tell the workman laying the tiles your preferred weep hole location, so he can lay the floor slope accordingly. If no preference, just leave him on his own 
You may choose to install a floor trap within the shower space at additional cost.
This video of re-waterproofing the toilet floor looks plain sailing.
The fact is, it was a huge DUST-STORM requiring an equally huge clean-up!
Not to mention some poor quality workmanship issues.
There is the follow-up water ponding test.
Also, there are additional costs beyond the HDB good-will and immediate neighbours co-sharing.
Be prepared for one!
