Hi everyone! Today I’ll be showing you how I turned a jar into a toadstool fairy house lantern! I used a regular sauce jar for this project because I like recycling things, but you can buy one too if you prefer. If you want to recycle one, just remove the label and wash it thoroughly.

PS: I recommend using an LED tea light because they’re safe to use, especially if you’re looking to make this jar for your children as a night lamp, where they run no risk of getting burned.

✿ BAKING TIPS:
I bake my polymer clay pieces at 110ºC for no longer than 30 minutes at a time. Polymer clay can be baked for longer if at the correct temperature.
I prebake them at the same temperature for 10-15 minutes depending on the size of my piece.
When I bake jars, I turn the oven on after placing the jar in it, so both warm up at the same time, thus reducing the chances of cracks in the glass.
Always read the baking instructions for your particular brand of polymer clay, as temperatures and times may vary slightly.
