BE AWARE: I don’t recommend this process for most casting. You can’t get the details you would achieve using good materials. However, for my applications it did work very well and I got good and unexpected results.
I demonstrate how to make a mold for casting resin or other materials. This is much cheaper than name-brand casting products. However, this technique only works well for simple forms. Detailed textures or life casting require proper silicone casting materials or thinning down at least the first coat of silicone.
