Jenvey Inlet Manifold Plenum Assembly, Ford Zetec/Focus RS MK1

I was interested in buying this Jenvey inlet manifold but as with most things I prefer to have a look and see if there’s any videos relating to it so I can get a better idea as to what I’m buying, I was surprised to find that there wasn’t really any about the manifold/plenum but more about the Jenvey throttle bodies so I decided to make one in hope that it will help other people make the decision as weather or not to buy one.
I was really impressed with the workmanship of this product and although its expensive I wouldn’t say its unaffordable for most people as the way its made you could buy everything individually when the money is available.

This Plenum/manifold comes in multiple configurations and there’s more than likely a manifolds that the plenum bolts too so you can install one to your car too.
This one is fitted to My ford focus, 2.0l zetec turbo engine and the only problems I can across is that the head temp sensor got in the way but seeing as i’m using Omex 600 management I didn’t need it so was easy enough to remove, however it was only just in the way and I think if I was to have tightened the sensor a little more it would have cleared it.
The second problem I had was the throttle body was a bit too close to the fuse box, I may have been able to find a silicone coupler tight enough to clear it but I made a stainless steel adapter instead to move the throttle body out the way which I think worked well.
I spoke to the guys at Jenvey multiple times and found them all very helpful and knowledgeable and Ill certainly be using them again in the future.
As to how much power this made I’m afraid I cant answer that, I’ve been building this car for years and am yet to finish it so unfortunately am unable to provide you with a before and after.

When assembling this manifold I used a high heat resistant sealant, see link below, this is a step you may or may not want to do but I felt it would add a greater seal and give me a little peace of mind when ramping the boost up, the kit does come supplied with O-ring gaskets which I also used so the sealant is a step that you choose not to do and more than likely still have the manifold perform perfectly.
