Mold Making Essential – Premixing Silicone Rubber
Not premixing silicone can result in the material not setting up correctly, remaining sticky or tacky to the touch, or having low tear strength and other physical properties. Using a stiff stirring utensil with square edges, mix both Parts A & B in their original containers, making sure to scrape the sides and bottom of the container. When the material has an even consistency and viscosity, it is ready to be dispensed.
