Last year, when I cosplayed Nora, I couldn’t find any tutorials on how to turn the black soles of my shoes pink, so I figured it out myself and made one. Matte Mod Podge is really a tool you can use for so many art projects, so I would recommend that everyone should try and get some! This worked great for me, and I hope it works well for you.
Protip from commenter Rachel Pugh: Now my side note is this: if you’re painting the soles on leather boots, you can be a little messy with the edges. I have found that once everything had dried, you can use a Lysol Wipe and scrub away the mistakes that got up too far
This is for costume purposes only! I would not recommend this for shoes that you plan on wearing on a daily bases. This is not for customizing sport shoes like Jordans, and though you can try if you want, that’s not what I made this tutorial for.
