Lucy asked: How can I clean my stained grout?
Answer:
What you need-
1) Grimy grout
2) Spray bottle with water
3) Cleaning toothbrush
4) Cotton cloth
5) Lemon (optional)
Spray the grout line with water and apply baking soda to create a sort of paste. Let it sit for 15 minutes then re-spray the area with water. Scrub using a cleaning toothbrush until the grout looks clean and wipe away any residue using a cotton cloth. To keep your grout looking clean, visit your local home store and purchase grout sealant to help keep your grout cleaner, longer.
Did you know? Grout, like your skin, has pores. As a result, it absorbs everything. Try to avoid using dirty mop water to prevent your grout lines from discoloring.
**BONUS TIP**
For really dirty grout:
Wet the grout line with lemon, instead of water, and add the baking soda to create a paste. Lemons act as a natural brightener to help get your grout looking clean and new.
