Every beekeeper need to have one in his home, if he wants 100 % wax foundation from his own bees.
It will pay off because you can now make it in your own beeswax foundation, without taxes and shop marges.
You need to heat wax on 125 °C ( 257 °F ), for 30 minutes to kill all bacteria and viruses in wax, that is how factories make there own foundations from wax. You can do that easy in home. Need realy small place to keep it in home.
It will be good for use for at least 30 years, because of very good quality.
Watch at least beginning and end, because in the middle is 60 seconds where wax is cooling.
The best way to poured the wax in fmold is when he is on 80 – 90 °C, ( 176 – 194 °F ), wait 60 seconds to cool the wax and it is done.
One sheet have 80 grams, but weight and thickness depends about temperature of wax, so 80 – 150 grams per sheet.
Please share this information for all beekeepers. This is cheapest mold for beeswax foundation that I know.
