Replacing a laser tube can be somewhat intimidating. Don’t worry, I’m going to walk you through the installation process from beginning to end. It’s not that hard and there is nothing that should keep this out of reach of any DIYer. I used a 30-40Watt Puri Laser Purchased from VIPLaser. They give it a 12month warranty and the price is reasonable. I had no issues with the laser tube at all. The halo ring is glued on, but many in the 4owatt range are.
I chose to do it the classic way using small pieces of silicone tubing as the insulator. The tubing is filled with RTV or any form of silicone or latex caulking you have lying around. Link above to a good Blue color which will have high visibility through the silicone tubing
