I did not work for me. 
Maybe I did it to long.
Instructions I found on the web after I did it.
Firstly you need to boil some water and make sure it is boiling hot.
Remove the rubber from the case and put in the boiling water for about 30sec – 1 min.
Remove the rubber from the boiling hot water and put on ice cold water for about 10-20 sec.
Dry the silicone case with paper towel or cloth and then I hope it will be good as new.
Clear Vinyl & Gorilla brand Duct Tape
The window got busted out, and a plastic bag taped to the vehicle wasn’t cutting it.
The plastic I used is Vinyl from the Walmart Crafts section. Sold as table cloth cover. Any clear vinyl should work from any place you can get it. It is also sold as heavy duty window winterizing film.
The vinyl is very heavy, slightly stretchy, and nearly crystal clear. It doesn’t drum going down the road if you stretch it tight.
The tape was Gorilla Tape. I have always been a fan of 3M Scotch brand, but also became a fan of Gorilla after this window fix.
