About Us and Our Work:
Perma-Seal Basement Systems is a locally-owned, family-operated business that was started through humble beginnings in 1979. After answering an ad in the newspaper for a manager trainee, our founder Roy was handed a shovel and told to “manage this.” He rose to the challenge, and was soon promoted to production manager.
After working for several local waterproofing companies, he was unhappy with the “patch ‘em now, service ‘em later” business approach. He decided to branch off on his own and build his own company, alongside his red pickup truck–the first of the Perma-Seal fleet.
Since then, Perma-Seal has proudly served over 350,000 homeowners in the greater Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana areas. Nearly 40 years later, Perma-Seal continues improve efficiency, reliability, and our clients’ experience.
Roy Spencer proudly serves as President alongside the Executive Vice-President, Laura Ann Spencer. A video showing rain beading off of a windshield as a result of Adams Glass Sealant. The sealant is rated for about 400 miles in the rain (about 4-6 months if not a lot of rain).
After 9 months the water is still beading strong. It is wearing out, but it is good enough I do not need my wipers. Your vision on the highway in the rain is greatly increased and improves safety.
