DIY Master Handyman Chris’s Tutorial, Teaching Laminate Floor Installation Techniques. In this video i am teaching the importance of the threshold waterproof sealing and various other hardwood material use’s that may be more effective such as the use of various threshold woods and laminates, while also pointing out the fact that it is important to seal all cracks on the floor near bathrooms due to possible leaks in the bathroom to avoid inadvertent damage to the Laminate hardwood which must remain dry at all times, and which must be only cleaned with a damp cloth with as minimal water as possible, to avoid water damage to the laminate floor. When using any laminate Hardwood floor polish or wax, it is very important to read and follow all laminate waxing, polishing and cleaning instruction’s with care. Failure to follow these instruction’s can lead to permanent laminate floor damage’s which may not be covered by the manufacture’s warranty.

Steps for How to Seal Leaky Ductwork:
1. Remove the grilles from all of the supply and return registers.
2. Plug each duct register with foam rubber and wide strips of tape.
3. Pressurize the duct system with a blower fan.
4. Use a computer to analyze the data to determine the amount of air leaking from the ducts.
5. Use the blower fan to mist the inside of all the dust with liquid-rubber sealant.
6. The sealant will find and plug all air-leaking holes, cracks, and seams.
7. After applying the sealant, run another pressurized blower test to verify the improved results.
