  • This video will take you step by step on how to make a rolled bead with a large hole to work perfectly for all those macrame projects that have thick bulky cord or yarn. Lots of different colors of card stock to choose from so you can color co-ordinate for your project. This method of bead rolling can be adapted to smaller holes by just using a smaller needle or skewer. Then you can have fun making jewelry as well.
    Supplies used:
    -Cutting mat
    -Omingrid ruler or metal ruler
    -pencil
    -Rotary cutter
    -Card-stock in colors of choice
    -glue stick
    -Knitting needle, croquet hook or skewer for your rolling tool. I used a 9US/5.5mm knitting needle
    -some scrap paper for a gluing service
    -2 canning jars for a gluing and drying rack
    -2 large elastic bands
    -Mod Podge gloss-lustre water base sealer, glue and finish
    -small paint brush
    -Cleansing wipes & paper towel
    -skewer to hold beads when applying Mod Podge
