With the doors closed, the steps stay tucked in under the rocker panel, so they’re not getting in the way as you drive on trails or roads.
Full-length internal ribs keep these steps from flexing too much as you climb on and off them. A pinch-safety technology ensures that if your foot or another object gets caught between the step and rocker panel, the motor stops running to prevent injury or damage.
These PowerSteps are compatible with 2015 to 2016 Ford F-150s with a SuperCab or SuperCrew.
You don’t need to worry about these PowerSteps getting damaged easily, because Amp Research makes most of the components out of a heavy-duty aluminum alloy that’s anondized, which also keeps them from being overly heavy without sacrificing durability. The pivot pins are made of stainless steel. Weatherproofing for the motor and wiring seals out the elements, avoiding problems with operation.
