  • We got a sunny day so we went about to reseal a window. This will be the same process for the other windows in the near future using butyl mastic this time. I explain how and why I reseal it my way although I do not claim to say its the best way or right way for other applications.



    Application of htv silicone disc for lead-zinc alloy craft:
    It is used for alloy crafts, bullion jewelry, fish tooling, pendant. Lead-tin Alloy Craft Silicone is mainly applicable to lead-zinc alloy arts and crafts, imitation of gold and silver ornaments, fishing tools, bracelets, hanging ornaments, furniture fittings, decoration accessories, toys and gifts, etc.

    Operation method of htv silicone disc for lead-zinc alloy craft:
    The disc silicone rubber consists of Past A and Part B, Part A is the working surface, Part B acts secondary role. It mainly applicable to cast lead tin craftworks and product models. Fix the product upon one piece of A, cover with another pieces of A, and put pieces of Part B over the upper and lower sides of Part A, then take it to a press molding machine, the temperature is generally at 160 ~ 180°C, and it can be decoupled in 30 minutes. After take out the mold, make a round hole at the central point of the disc with diameter of 30mm for material injection, inject the lead-tin alloy liquid into the disc silicone mold, the products can be shaped by the force of a mode of centrifuge.

    Features and properties of htv silicone disc for lead-zinc alloy craft:
    1.Temperature resistance of 350℃~400℃ or even higher.
    2. Fast cooling, easy to grinding and polish.
    3. The usual sizes are 9 inches and 12 inches. Thickness is 4.5~5mm, special requirements can be customized.
