FAQ–
Can I use white silicone, will it still work?
- yes, but the result won’t be as flexible as a mold rather than the clear silicone
Does this stay flexible?
- yes because silicone sealant is a substance that stays flexible once cured
Why is it so sticky?
- In the video, I mentioned that you add an EQUAL amount of cornstarch with your silicone; or you need to add more baby oil to it
Are there any alternatives to silicone?
- At the moment, I don’t believe that there is an alternative to silicone sealant, as because it is a polymer mixed in with different chemicals
How long does it last for?
-If the mold is washed and used properly, it should last the same length of time as any branded mold putties.
Where can I purchase the materials?
- Silicone can be purchased at any home-improvement store or at any hardware section in a department store. Cornstarch can be purchased at your local supermarket. Craftsmart brand paint is available at Michael’s.
Can I use flour?
- Flour will make it turn hard instead of flexible. Cornstarch is a thickening agent, which is used in this case, to thicken the silicone so it can be moldable.
