Palram Sunlite polycarbonate clear panels are available at Home Depot. These are slightly flexible in one direction, pretty flexible in the other, so they can go on a curve, but not so much a dome. The big advantage of these is that they are not brittle and can take a lot of wind buffeting without breaking. Cutting is accomplished with a common low power cordless saw using a panel blade. I suggest not removing the protective film until you have neared completion of your project, even if it risks not getting all the stuff off and having some stuck around the corners.
This stuff is also commonly used in outdoor structures and greenhouses. the slightly insulating nature of the material was one of the reasons I picked it for this project.
