I designed and build this Jurassic Park themed terrarium for my bearded dragon. I used pink insulation board for the rock background and cut out shapes using knives and a foam heat cutting tool. Glues the pieces together with 100% pond safe silicone and used sanded grout to seal everything up so it can withstand the dragons constant scratches.
The background was painted with water based paints and then sealed using a water based sealer.
The substrate used in this video was the coconut fiber but I have since switched to using marine safe sand.
The vines were made by saturating pipe cleaners in the 100% pond safe silicone and then pushing the coconut fiber into it letting them cure for a few days.
