This is a shortened 10 minute video showing what happens to each wax/sealant after wetting the surface of both sides for a period of 20 minutes. This video is purely a repellency test and observation. The panel was stripped of all waxes prior to application of Turtle Wax ICE Paste Wax on the left side of the panel applied to the half way point of the hood, and Meguiar’s Ultimate Paste Wax was applied on the right side of the hood starting from the half way point. I did not use a control section containing no wax for this test. Both waxes were allowed 5 minutes to dry, and after removal I waited 19 hours for the products to cure before wetting. The car remained inside for the entirety of the application and curing process. This video is cut after a few minutes of initial wetting, and off-camera I continue to wet the surface for 12 minutes, and I return to record any changes in repellency after that time period. For a video without any interruption in recording, see my previous test here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RF2UNHxiYQE
