  • This is a test I did with GE silicone. I gave each sample 3 days to cure before starting this test. In 12 days I am going to do the other side of each surface to see if more time to cure makes a difference.

The four types of Silicone I tested are
    Silicone 1

    Silicone 2

    Silicone Supreme

    Silicone Plastic

    https://www.homedepot.com/p/GE-2-8-oz-Silicone-Sealant-GE-57/202038072

I also used E6000 adhesive for comparison.

    https://www.homedepot.com/p/E6000-2-oz-Clear-Adhesive-6-Pack-237032/205382750

    I used four test surfaces,
The first was MDF with primer on it, the second was MDF with primer and latex paint, the third was acrylic, and the last was glass.

The little squares are labeled but they are,
    Primed MDF
    Acrylic
    Sinatra
    Poly carbonate

Basically I was just interested in how easy certain materials pulled off using different types of Silicone. I hope you find this helpful
